After four years of research into how to most impact the world through our business we decided to use the United Nations and their Joint Sustainable Development Goals as our standard of care. In late September 2015, the United Nations launched the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development “to end poverty and set the world on a path of peace, prosperity and opportunity for all on a healthy planet.” (António Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations, P. 2, The Sustainable Development Goals Report 2020). These 17 ambitious goals set up 169 targets to reach through boots on the ground programs across the globe. Our business operations and supply chain were built to support the following sustainable development goals:

#1 - No Poverty

#8 - Decent Work & Economic Growth

#9 - Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure

#11 - Sustainable Cities & Communities

#12 - Responsible Consumption & Production

#13 - Climate Action

#14 - Life Below Water

#15 - Life on Land
